Recruitment in the Service shall be made:
In case of Elementary School Head Master:
1. 85% by promotion from amongst TGTs and
2. 7% by promotion from Hindi Teacher and
3. 7% by promotion from Sanskrit Teacher and4. 1% by promotion from Punjabi Teacher.

The formula (67% Post Direct recruitment+33% JBTs+C&V se promotion) applies on every TGT Post, Only TGT Physical Education have one exception where only PTI promoted on 33% Post and 67% Post filled with Direct recruitment.

TGT Social Studies (S.S. Master) ki ab 67% Post Direct recruitment se fill-up ki jayegi and baki 33% ko JBTs+C&V se promotion base pr fill-up kiya jayega, Earlier it was 50-50%.

TGT Punjabi Qualification as per "Haryana School Education (Group C) State Cadre Service Rules-2012":

(1) BA with at least 50% Marks in Punjabi

as an Elective Subject and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education
OR
BA with at least 50% Marks as well as in Punjabi as an elective subject and 1 year Bechelor in Education (B.Ed)
OR
BA with at least 45% Marks as well as 50% Marks in Punjabi as an elective subject and 1 year Bechelor in Education (B.Ed) in accordance with the NCTE (recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulation issued from time to time in this regard
OR
Senior Secondary (or Its equivalent) with at least 50% Marks and 4 year Bechelor in Elementary Education(B.El. Edu.)
OR
Senior Secondary (or Its equivalent) with at least 50% Marks and 4 year BA Ed.
OR
BA with at least 50% Marks as well as in Punjabi as an elective subject and 1 year Bechelor in Education (B.Ed) in Special Education
OR
(2) In case of B.Ed., Punjabi as a teaching Subject from a recognized University.
(3) Certificate of having qualified HTET/STET
(4)Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or 10+2/BA/MA with Hindi as one of Subject.

NOTE:
That in case of direct recruitment the teachers working in Privately Managed Govt. Aided ,Recognized and Govt. schools, are exempted to acquire qualification of passing HTET as described in column 3 if they have worked as a teacher for minimum period of 4 year on the date of enforcement of these rules.However, the exemption is a onetime measure and the said category of teachers on their appointment shall have to qualify HTET by not later than 1st April 2015, otherwise their appointment shall stand terminated automatically without giving any further notice.

TGT Sanskrit Qualification as per "Haryana School Education (Group C) State Cadre Service Rules-2012":

(1) BA with at least 50% Marks in Sanskrit as an Elective Subject and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education
