Mewat's 200 schools upgraded in 8 years



While stating this at Ferozepur Jhirka, the MP said that under the leadership of Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda commendable development has taken place in Mewat during last eight years. He said that since the formation of Haryana, there was only one medical college at Rohtak, but now along with three others, Shaheed Hasan Khan Mewati medical college has been started at Nalhar in Mewat. He said that initially there was only one ITI in Mewat, but now eight new ITIs have been set up there. He said that new women college is being opened at Salaheri.Hooda said that during last eight years about 200 schools of Mewat have been upgraded. Also the proposed IMT would be developed in the area and development in Mewat would take place at par with Manesar and Gurgaon. He said that approval has been sought for new railway line of Delhi-Sohna-Nuh-Ferozepur Jhirka-Alwar. The state government would bear half of the total expenditure to be incurred on the construction of this railway line. He said that to extend irrigation facilities in Mewat, a project costing Rs 666 crore has been sent to Central Water Commission for approval.
