The single emergency no. (112) will be activates throughout India from 01.01.2017. Telecom minister Ravi Shankar Prasad approved this single emergency number in whole India like America single emergency number 911.
Currently India emergency numbers are given below
- Police- 100
- Fire brigade- 101
- Ambulance- 102
- Disaster management- 108
From 01.01.2017 no need of these number single emergency number 112 will work throughout India.
