Clarification regarding promote PGTs posted in District Mewat

Due to non-availability of vacancies as per zone criteria in some districts some promotee PGTs of the cadre other than Mewat were posted in the schools of Mewat district vide orders issued on 17.06.2016. These teachers still belong to the state cadre. These teachers have been posted without taking their choice of being posted in the Mewat district which has its distinct cadre so
such teachers are logically entitled to exercise their option whether to stay in Mewat district or in any other district.
Now a decision has been taken where by all PGTs whose orders were issued after 31.03.2016, including the promote PGTs, shall necessarily opt for their participation in the online general transfer exercise in accordance with the choices of zones and stations given by them. This decision will
automatically cover the promotee teachers posted in Mewat district on 17.06.2016. In other words, these teachers shall be free to opt any station(s) of any zone of any district as per their eligibility in terms of the New Teachers' Transfer Policy, 2016. If the "weightage points + choice" takes them to a station outside Mewat district then they shall be allowed.
