IMPORTANT MESSAGE FOR TEACHERS WORKING IN ZONE 6 AND 7

A number of PGTs working in Zone 6 and 7 have submitted their query that they have been shown eligible in the respective zone whereas they were posted in zone 6 or 7 during last transfer drive and system is showing them automatically eligible for transfer and they do not have “No” option.

In this regard, it is clarified that since such teachers have completed their five-year tenure in the respective zone, therefore, the system is showing them as “Eligible” for Transfer. “Eligible” does not mean that they will compulsorily be transferred. The Department is identifying such PGTs and will protect them in the respective school, if they want so. List of such identified PGTs would be displayed on the website of the Department by today evening. Out of the list, those who do not want their transfer from present place of posting, would send a request on “Sugam Sampark” Portal under “Protection in Zone 6 and 7 transfer Drive 2017”. Those who will lodge their complaint on the portal upto 11:59:50 P.M. on 22.7.2017, will be protected. Those not submitting the request would be considered as voluntary participants.

Further those teachers who are protected under para 5(vi) of Teachers Transfer Policy, 2016 would also be identified and be asked to submit their request for “No” on “Sugam Sampark” under Protection under para 5(vi) of the Policy.

It may be noted that PGTs ineligible for this, may not submit their request because their request, if submitted, will not be considered. Virender Singh, HCS Joint Secretary School Education, Govt. of Haryana
