हरियाणा पुलिस को एक हजार पुरुष सिपाहियों (कंप्यूटर ऑपरेटरों) की जरूरत है जिसके लिए 28 फरवरी तक आवेदन दिए जा सकेंगे। पुलिस उपायुक्त अंबाला शशाक आनंद ने बताया कि पुलिस महानिदेशक हरियाणा के आदेशानुसार हरियाणा पुलिस इन कंप्यूटर आपरेटरों की भर्ती की जानी है। इसके लिए उम्मीदवार की शैक्षणिक योग्यता 10 जमा 2 और राज्य पात्रता परीक्षा (कंप्यूटर) हारट्रोन से एसईटीसी परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण हो। उम्मीदवार की आयु सामान्य वर्ग 18 से 25 वर्ष, एक मार्च 2012 तक निर्धारित है। अनुसूचित जाति व पिछड़ा वर्ग श्रेणी के उमीदवारों को नियमानुसार 5 वर्ष की छूट है। सामान्य वर्ग के उमीदवार का कद 5 फुट 7 ईच, छाती 33 ईच व फुलाव सहित 341/2, भूतपूर्व सैनिक, एससी, बीसी उम्मीदवारों को कद व छाती में 1-1 ईच की छूट है। सामान्य वर्ग के उम्मीदवार आवेदन फीस 10 रुपये इडियन पोस्टल आर्डर अथवा ट्रेजरी चालान कोड 0055 अन्य पुलिस के माध्यम से पुलिस खाता में जमा करवा सकता है। एससी, बीसी उम्मीदवार जो हरियाणा के स्थाई निवासी है, के लिए निशुल्क आवेदन कर सकते है।

RECRUITMENT OF 1000 POSTS OF MALE CONSTABLES (COMPUTER OPERATOR) IN
HARYANA POLICE.
Applications are invited from the Male candidates for filling up of 1000 temporary
Posts of temporary Constable in Haryana Police as per details given below. Selection shall be
made in accordance with the provisions under PPR 12.14 to 12.19 (amended up to 2011).
Selected candidates on appointment as Constable shall be entitled to pay in the P.B.-1 of Rs.
5200-20200+GP of Rs. 2000/- with usual allowances.

Vacancies are liable to change at any time in public interest or on administrative
grounds.
2. RESERVATION
a) Benefit of reservation as per policy of the State Government will be given only to
those SC/BC candidates who are Resident of Haryana State. Other relaxations will
be given as per rules /Instructions.
3. ELIGIBILITY
A) Nationality / Domicile:
The candidate must be a citizen of India;or a subject of Nepal ; or a subject of
Bhutan ; or a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the Ist January,
1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India ; or a person of
Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka or any of the
East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania,
Zabia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia with the intention of permanently settling
in India.
Provided that a person belonging to any of the categories above except that of
a citizen of India, shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility
has been issued by the Government.
B) Character Certificate:
No person shall be appointed to the post of constable, unless he produces a
certificate of character from the Principal Academic Officer of the University,
College, School or Institution last attended, if any, and similar certificates
from two other responsible persons, not being his relatives who are well
acquainted with him in his private life and are unconnected with his
university, college, school or institution.
C) Educational Qualification:
The minimum required educational qualification shall be:-
1) Class

10+2 pass from Board of School Education, Haryana or any otherfor all categories.
And
2) Certificate of having passed State Eligibility Test in Computer
Appreciation and Applications (SETC) held by HARTRON.
D) Age :
i) For General Category candidates the age will be
2012.
18 to 25 Years as on 1st March,
ii) Upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for SC/BC candidates as per PPR
12.15 (1).
iii) Ex-Servicemen candidates must have been discharged/retired after
2008
1st March,.
4) Physical Standard:
a) Height : Minimum 5’-7”
b) Chest : Un-expanded - Minimum 33”
Expanded - Minimum 34 ½ “
(Minimum expansion of one and half inch)

PPR12.15 (2).)
Relaxation in Physical Standard to the extent of one inch in height and one inch in chest
5. WHERE TO APPLY
A candidate can apply
at respective District Police Office.
6. HOW TO APPLY
The eligible candidates may submit their application forms as per advertised proforma
at respective District Police Office (DPO), in person or through registered post not later
than 28.02.2012. Application sent by ordinary post will not be accepted. The candidates
are required to enclose a self-addressed envelope with Rs.5/- postage stamp affixed on it
along with the application form.
7. LAST DATE
The application should reach concerned DPO on or before 28.02.2012
received after 28.02.2012 will not be entertained and will be rejected. No further
correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

8. APPLICATION FEE
Every application should be accompanied with original Treasury Challan or Indian
Postal order for payment of Rs.10/- for General Category candidates. The amount be
deposited in any Haryana Govt treasury under receipt head “0055-Police-Other Receipt”
or be paid by Indian Postal Order payable in favour of respective Chairman, Selection
Board. However, there will be no application fee for candidates belonging to SC and BC
categories.
9. SELECTION PROCEDURE
After completion of registration and scrutiny of application forms, candidates found
eligible shall be informed by sending Call Letters through post regarding the place, date
and time of their Computer Test & Physical Measurement. In addition to the above,
information shall also be displayed on the notice board at the respective District Police
Office and candidates can confirm the place, date and time of their Computer Test and
Physical Measurements.
Note:- (i) The candidates willing to apply for the post of Constables (Computer
Operators) shall have to clear the State Eligibility Test in Computer
Appreciation & Applications (SETC) to be conducted by HARTRON before
they are considered for selection.
(ii) For appearing in aforesaid State Eligibility Test in Computer Appreciation
& Applications (SETC) the application form will be available from the office
of Haryana State Electronics Development Corporation Ltd. (HARTRON),
SCO 111-113, Sector-17-B, Chandidgarh and instruments Design Development
& Facilities Centre (IDDC), Staff Road, Ambala Cantt on cash payment of Rs.
300/-. The form can also be down-loaded from HARTRON’s website i.e.
www.hartron.org
Haryana State Electronics Development Corporation Ltd. payable at
Chandigarh.
(iii) Only those candidates who pass the SETC test conducted by the State
Government shall be sent for Physical Measurement and Physical Efficiency
Test and Interview.
(iv) The candidates so recruited shall be treated as General Duty Constables in
executive cadre for all intents and purposes.
I) PHYSICAL MEASUREMENT:
and forwarded a Demand Draft of Rs. 300/- in favour of
Candidates who are found eligible on screening of application will be screened
for height and chest measurements. Only those candidates will be allowed to
participate in Physical Efficiency Test who possess required measurements.
II) PHYSICAL EFFICIENCY TEST:
Candidates found eligible on the basis of physical measurements shall undergo
Physical Efficiency Test (PET) of total 20 marks. Candidates shall be tested for
following capacities as per PPR 12.16 (14).

IV) MEDICAL EXAMINATION:
Medical examination by the concerned Civil Surgeon will be conducted after all
other processes of selection viz. Physical measurement, PET and Interview are
over to assess the fitness of the candidates for the post as per rules
10. CHARACTER VERIFICATION:
Verification rolls of selected candidates for the post of Constable shall be sent to
the Local police and Criminal Investigating Department with a copy to the concerned District
Magistrate. Character verification shall be done as per the existing government instructions on
the subject before a person is appointed.
11. APPEAL:
Candidates who are dissatisfied with the decision of Selection Board regarding
Physical Measurement and Physical Efficiency Test, can within three days file an appeal to the
Inspector General of Police of respective Range under which the Selection Centre / Selection
Boards fall.
12. GENERAL:
i)
Investigation or pending Trial or who has been convicted by a Court of Law
need not apply.
A candidate against whom a Criminal case stands registered and is under
ii) Persons less in height & chest measurements and with any physical deficiency
need not apply.
iii) Persons, who have not clear the State Eligibility Test in Computer Appreciation
& Applications (SETC) need not apply.
iv) A candidate applying at more than one Selection Centre would be disqualified.
v) Merit list in each category namely General, SC/BC and Ex-servicemen will be
drawn separately in respect of each Selection Centre on the basis of aggregate
marks obtained by the candidates in PET and interview.
vi) Final selection of candidates in each category will be made for each Selection
Centre in order of merit.
vii) Candidates will have to appear for selection at their own expense. No TA/DA
will be admissible. They should also make their own arrangement for stay
during the selection process.
viii) Candidate shall be appearing for the PET at their own risk. The Govt. shall not be
responsible for any loss or injury caused during the test.
ix) The Director General of Police, Haryana has full right to make changes and
constitute additional boards for Physical Measurement and Physical Efficiency
Test or cancel or postpone the recruitment on administrative grounds or in the
public interest.
x) Candidates canvassing in any form will be disqualified from appearing in the
test or for final selection.
