Online applications are invited for filling up of various posts on contractual basis
initially for one year (extendable on satisfactory performance) in 36 AAROHI Model Schools**
established in Educationally Backward Blocks of the state by way of direct recruitment through
the website www.recruitment.cdacmohali.in. The online application can be filled upto 31st July,
2012 upto 5:00 p.m., thereafter, website link will be disabled. The candidates are strongly
advised to apply online well in time without waiting for last date of submission of online
application. The printed copy of the online form with necessary certification will be brought at

Cat. No. 1: PRINCIPAL
(i) At least 55% marks in Post Graduation as well as in Graduation from a recognized university;
and
(ii) B.Ed. or M.Phil from a recognized University with 55% marks; and
(iii) Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or 10+2/B.A. /M.A. with Hindi as one of the subject; and
(iv) Teaching Experience of 8 years from Government/ Recognized / Progressive Public School not
below the rank of TGT/Master, including 2 years in administrative capacity as Principal/Vice-
Principal of Senior Secondary School/Headmaster of Secondary School; and
(v) Proficiency in English and Hindi; and
(vi) Experience in conducting Seminars, Workshops, Conference etc.; and
(vii) Consistent good academic record; and
(viii) Conversant in IT skills and effective use of new technologies as tools for learning.
Desirable: Experience of working in a residential school.
Age: Not above 45 years as on 31.07.2012.
Cat. No. 2: POST GRADUATE TEACHERS (PGTs)
Qualifications common to all categories of PGTs except Cat. No. 19:
(i) The subject in which Post Graduation is done should be one of the subjects in Graduation; and
(ii) B.Ed. with 50% marks from recognized university/institute. However, in the case of candidates
who have qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) or M,Phil with 50% marks from recognized
university/institute, condition of B.Ed. will not be applicable; and
(iii) Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or 10+2/B.A./M.A. with Hindi as one of the subject; and
(iv) Certificate of having qualified State Teacher’s Eligibility Test (STET)/ Haryana Teacher’s
Eligibility Test (HTET)/National Eligibility Test (NET). Further, the condition of STET/HTET will
not be applicable in the subjects of Music and Fine Arts; and
(v) Proficiency in teaching in English and Hindi medium; and
(vi) Consistent good academic record; and
(vii) Conversant in IT skills and effective use of new technologies as tools for learning.
(viii) Essential qualification (EQ) is given with each post.
Desirable for all categories of PGTs: Teaching experience from Government/ Recognized /
Progressive Public School/College/ Polytechnic; not below the rank of Master/TGT.
Age: 21-40 years as on 31.07.2012.

Cat. No. 2 (j): 36 posts of PGT Chemistry
M.Sc. Chemistry or Bio- Chemistry with atleast 55% marks from recognised
university.
Cat. No. 2 (k): 36 posts of PGT Mathematics
M.A./M.Sc. Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics with atleast 55% marks from
recognised university.
Cat. No. 2 (l): 36 posts of PGT Commerce
M.Com. with Accounting/Cost accounting/Financial accounting as a major subject of
study with atleast 55% marks from recognized university. Holders of degree of
M.Com. in Applied/ Business Economics shall not be eligible.

recognised university; and
(ii) Graduate with Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) or its equivalent from
a recognised University with 50% marks.
Note: Condition of B.Ed. will not be applicable.
Cat. No. 2 (r): 36 posts of PGT Computer Science
(i) At least 55% in M.Tech./M.E. (Computer Science/IT) from a recognised
university / recognised institute.
OR
At least 55% in MCA/ M.Sc. (Computer Science) from a recognised
university.
(ii) Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or 10+2/B.A./M.A. with Hindi as one of the subject;
and
(iii) Consistent good academic record; and
(iv) Proficiency in teaching in English and Hindi medium.
Cat. No. 3 : 36 posts of Librarian
(i) 1st Class B.Lib. from recognized Institution with two years experience as
librarian/Assistant Librarian of University/Institution affiliated with University.
Must have working exposure of Digital Library; and
(ii) Must be conversant with techniques of Digital Storage/Maintaining of Digital
Copies Must be competent to use Library Softwares; and
(iii) Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or 10+2/B.A./M.A. with Hindi as one of the subject.
Desirable: B.Ed. Degree from a recognized university.
Age: 18-40 years as on 31.07.2012.
Note:
** Government of India Ministry of Human Development Department of School Education & Literacy
has sanctioned 36 AAROHI Educationally Backward Block) Model Schools in Haryana at Block
Headquarters under the centrally sponsored scheme on sharing pattern. The schools will have 6th to
12th classes.
(a) Reservation for the posts of Principals and PGTs: Out of the 36 posts in each category
except Punjabi and Urdu, as detailed above, 7 posts are reserved for Scheduled Castes, 4
posts for Backward Classes, 2 posts for Ex-Servicemen, 1 for Physically Challenged and the
rest 22 posts belong to Unreserved/General/Open Competition category. In case of PGT
Punjabi, the reservation will be to the extent of 4 posts for Scheduled Castes, 2 posts for
Backward Classes & 1 post for Ex-Servicemen and in case of PGT Urdu, it will be 2 posts for
Scheduled Castes and 1 post for Backward Classes.
(b) Reservation for the posts of Librarian: Out of the 36 posts in each category, as detailed
above, 7 posts are reserved for Scheduled Castes including 1 for SC (ESM) and 1 for SC
(OSSP), 5 posts for BC-A including 1 for BC-A (ESM) and 1 for BC-A (OSSP), 4 posts for BCB
including 1 for BC-B (ESM), 1 post for Physically Challenged and the rest 19 posts belong
to Unreserved/General/Open Competition category including 2 for GEN(ESM).
(c) Pay Scale: The incumbent appointed will be paid consolidated contractual amount on the
basis of currently applicable basic salary on the said posts. In addition, the DA, House Rent
and fixed medical allowance, as applicable from time to time on the Government pattern will
also be paid. At current rates, the total approximate emoluments including all
allowances for the posts of Principal, PGT and Librarian as on 01.08.2012 will be
Rs.38,300/-, Rs.30,060/- and Rs.25,750/- respectively.
(d) Application Fee: The rate of fee is Rs.300/- + Rs. 20 (Bank charges) for General category
candidates and Rs.75/- + Rs. 20 (Bank charges) for SC/BC/ESM/PHC candidates of Haryana
state. The fee should be deposited in any branch of State Bank of India
under code/account number 30164102059.
(e) Consistent Good Academic Record means that out of the lower qualifications i.e.
Graduation/10+2/Matric etc., than the requisite minimum qualification, one must secure
atleast 55 % marks in one lower examination and 50% in the two lower examinations. If there
are only two lower examinations, then one secure atleast 55 % marks in one lower exam and
50% in another. In case of PGT Computer Science, 3 years Diploma from State Board of
Technical Education will be considered as one lower examination in this regards.
(f) Professional Training Diploma or Certificate awarded by any State, Board or University other
than Haryana Education Department will be recognized only if this Degree or Diploma or
Certificate has been recognized by the Haryana Government.
(g) A Diploma/degree course in teacher education recognised by the National Council for
Teacher Education (NCTE) only shall be considered. However, in case of Diploma in
Education (Special Education) and B.Ed. (Special Education), a course recognized by the
Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) only shall be considered.
(h) 33% posts in each category shall be reserved for women and this reservation shall be
horizontal.
(i) Candidates having qualified HTET/STET conducted by Haryana Board of School Education,
Bhiwani for this category of teachers only will be eligible.
