Fatehabad 61 teachers HTET impersonate

Nearly 61 government teachers have been booked in Fatehabad and Sirsa districts for allegedly procuring jobs on the basis of impersonation in the qualifying test. Criminal cases under sections 419, 420 and 120-B have been lodged against these teachers — 42 from Fatehabad and 19 from Sirsa district — by the Haryana Elementary Education Department.
Many of the teachers booked in the two districts are women. The Education Department had lodged complaints against these teachers acting upon the judgment of the Punjab and Haryana High Court in three petitions filed by Parveen Kumari, Kavita Kumari and Dinesh Kumar.
Yagya Dutt Verma, district elementary education officer, Fatehabad, confirmed that FIRs were lodged against 19 teachers after receipt of the first list from the head office two days ago and against 23 others after receiving the second list today.
The teachers in question, Verma said, had been recruited in 2011 to the posts of junior basic teachers (JBT) and had cleared the qualifying test, HTET, organised by Board of School Education, Haryana prior to their recruitment.www.facebook.com/teacherharyana www.teacherharyana.blogspot.in (Recruitment , vacancy , job , news)
