हरियाणा के 3200 स्कूलों को अब बीएसएनएल की इंटरनेट सेवा नहीं मिलेगी। तीन करोड़ के बकाया बिलों का भुगतान करने की वजह से बीएसएनएल की ओर से इन स्कूलों के इंटरनेट कनेक्शन काट
दिए गए है
इसी वजह से अब स्कूलों में बायोमीट्रिक सिस्टम लागू नहीं हो पाएगा। टीचर स्कूल में सही समय पर पहुंचे। इसके लिए प्रदेश सरकार ने डेढ़ साल पहले लगभग 2 हजार हाई 1200 सेकेंडरी स्कूलों पढ़ा रहे लगभग 80 हजार टीचरों के लिए बायोमीट्रिक मशीन लगाई गई थी।
मशीन को इंटरनेट से कनेक्ट करना जरूरी था। 800 रुपए प्रतिमाह बिल आता था। शुरू में तो बिलों का भुगतान किया गया, मगर छह माह सरकार ने बिल का भुगतान नहीं किया है। जिसका बकाया बिल तीन करोड़ रुपए है। यमुनानगर के हरियाणा राजकीय अध्यापक संघ के राज्य प्रधान प्रदीप सरीन ने बताया कि सरकार को चाहिए था कि पहले वह पूरे इंतजाम करती तब मशीनों काे लगाना चाहिए था।
इधर, यमुनानगर बीएसएनएल के डीजीएम सुरेश कुमार बंसल ने बताया कि यह मामला मेरी जानकारी में नहीं है।

All District Education Officers in the State All District Elementary Education Officers in the State Memo No. - 1/66-2015-e-Gov Dated 22nd June, 2015 Subject: Providing interact connectivity to schools for uploading data on MIS portal Kindly refer to the subject cited above. Govt. of Haryana, School Education Department vide letter no. 1/26-2014IT Cell dated 27.03.2015 has issued detailed order regarding implementation of the Management Information System (MIS). In this regard, it has been observed that some primary schools need internet support to complete data upload on MIS and to update it on a periodic basis. The matter has been examined and it has been decided to that all School Heads and DDOs in case of Primary Schools can utilize school funds for getting the internet connectivity (wired/wireless) from the service provider easily available in the area by incurring expenditure maximum of Rs. 1200/- per month per school out of the school funds available. However, appropriate accounts should be maintained in such manner that the same could be presented to the Audit. These instructions will cease to exist as and when the concerned school is connected through National Optic Fiber Network (NOFN). This has been issued with the approval of the competent Authority.
