Assistant Curator and Assistant Modeler post in Haryana

Applications are invited from interested eligible candidates to fill up one post of Assistant Curator and one post of Assistant Modeler in the Department of Archaeology & Museums, Haryana.
1. Education qualifications:
- (a) Assistant Curator
(i) 2nd Division Master’s degree in Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archaeology from a recognized University.
OR
2nd Division Master’s Degree in History of Arts from a recognized University.
(ii) Post graduate Diploma in Archaeology from the Institute of Archaeology,
Archaeological Survey of India, New Delhi.
OR
Post Graduate Diploma in Museology from a recognized Institute/University.
(iii) Hindi up to Matric Standard.
- (b) for Assistant Modeler
(i) Five years experience as Moulder in recognized Museum or Archaeological Organization
(ii) Hindi up to Matric standard.
2. Scale of Pay:
Assistant Curator – 9300-34800+GP 4000
Assistant Modeler—5200-20200+ GP 1900
3. Closing Date: 31st March, 2016 up to 5 PM. (for Assistant Curator)
8th April, 2016 up to 5 P.M. (for Assistant Modeler)
4. Application Fee: By bank draft in the name of Director, Archaeology & Museums Department, Haryana of the amount as under:-

5. How to apply: Apply in the prescribed format to the Director, Archaeology and Museums, Haryana, Art & Design Building, Sector 10, Chandigarh. The format can be downloaded from the Department website http://archaeologyharyana.nic.in.
6. General Clarification:-
(i). The candidate should not be more than 42 years age as on 31-03-2016. All document/testimonials in original regarding date of birth, qualifications, experience etc. will have to be produced at the time of test/interview, failing which the candidature is likely to be cancelled.
(ii). The candidates serving under Union/other State Governments will not be entitled to any benefit of their past service.
(iii). No travelling allowance will be paid for attending the test/interview.

In case any information is found false/doubtful before or after selection, my candidature may be cancelled. Intimation of the written test would be uploaded on the website, http://archaeologyharyana.nic.in. I understand that the Department would communicate the date, time and venue of the written test through SMS on mobile phone or through Email on Email Id. No correspondence would take place with the candidate in this regard.
I understand that my eligibility will be verified at the time of the interview after the short listing on the basis of the written test. Only the top two eligible candidates will be shortlisted for the final interview. I may be allowed to appear for the written test subject to verification of my eligibility at the time of the interview.

Note: Bring a clay mould designed and fabricated by you on any working day on or before 8th April, 2016 during office hours. The filled-up application along with the clay mould is to be submitted to the Deputy Director Archaeology in person and a receipt obtained. Three candidates will be short-listed on the basis of the mould for a moulding test followed by interview sometime in the last week of April, 2016. Shortlisted candidates will be intimated through SMS on mobile phone.
