Qualification- Candidates should possess good academic record with atleast 55% marks or an equivalent grade of B at the Master Degree level in the relevant subject from the Indian University or an equivalent Degree form Foreign University, qualification of NET conducted by UGC/ CSIR.

General Instructions for Candidates
1. Candidates who are or have been awarded PH.D degree in compliance of the University Grants Commission (Minimum standards and procedure for awards of M.Phil/Ph.D Degree), Regulations, 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET.
2. Candidates should possess the prescribed qualification and experience as on the closing date of application, as prescribed by the University from time to time for the respective posts. All the above posts carry UGC pay scales plus admissible allowances. At the time of interview the candidates are required to produce all relevant certificates including caste certificates. The posts are being advertised
keeping in view the broad areas of specialization in subjects. However, the Department concerned may have specific requirement of specialization.
3. The applications received may be screened for the short listing and recommending the candidates to be called for the interview. More stringent criteria may be applied for short-listing the candidates to be called for interview. Further, Merely fulfilling the minimum qualifications or the eligibility criteria does not entitle a candidate to be necessarily considered or called for the interview. 4. Publications ‘under submission’ or submitted to referees will not be considered towards points for publication criteria. Further all the items for which points are claimed should be strictly in accordance with the screening guidelines attached with the advertisement. The minimum API score requirement for the post of Assistant Professor will be as per the screening guidelines of the University.
5. The forms have to be filled online only, as available on the website of the college alongwith the instant advertisement, within the prescribed time limit indicated in the advertisement. No offline forms would be accepted, except for the persons with disability (PwD) candidates. PwD candidates have the option to apply either online or offline. Payment should be made online only, through credit/debit card.
6. Application received without complete information or without requisite fees shall be rejected. Candidates applying for more than one post/department must apply separately and pay fees separately. Further, applications will not be allowed to be withdrawn nor the fees would be refunded or kept in reserve for any future recruitment.
7. The reservation for OBC (non-creamy layer), SC, ST and Persons with Disability (Pwd) candidates will be applicable as per the Central Government norms. Candidates seeking reservation benefits available for SC/ST/OBC/Persons with Disability must ensure that they are entitled to such reservation as per Govt. of India lists/rules/norms. They should also be in possession of the ertificates in the format, prescribed by the Union Government. The PWD candidates with less than 40% of relevant disability shall not be considered. The disability certificate will be issued by
competent authority duly authorized by the Central or State Government.
8. Consequent upon adoption of self-certification provisions as required by the Govt. of India, the college shall process the applications entirely on the basis of information/documents submitted by the candidates. In case the information/documents are found to be false / incorrect by way of omission or
commission, the responsibility and liability shall lie solely with the candidate. Candidate should report to the interview along with all the testimonials/certificates in original along with photo ID. A set of certificates/testimonials with respect to the qualification and experience indicatedin the forms, duly certified by the applicant should be submitted on the day of the interview.
9. Candidates serving in Government/Public Sector Undertakings (including Boards/Autonomous Bodies) are required to submit their ‘No objection Certificate’ at the time of interview, if not submitted earlier.
10. The candidates already in service must apply through proper channel.
11. (a) No correspondence or personal enquiries shall be entertained by the college
(b) No inquiries regarding the interview will be entertained on telephone or in-person. All correspondence / notification from the college will be uploaded on college website only and interview call, if any shall be sent to the e-mail ID providedby the candidate.
12. Canvassing in any form will be treated as disqualification.
13. Applications which do not meet the criteria given in this advertisement and/or incomplete applications are liable to be summarily rejected
14. Candidates should not furnish any particulars that are false, tampered, fabricated or suppress any material / information while submitting the application and self-certified copies/testimonials.
15. The number/category of posts advertised may vary, and the college reserves the right not to fill up some or all the posts advertised, if the circumstances so warrant.
16. The college shall verify the antecedents or documents submitted by a candidate at the time of appointment or during the tenure of the service. In case, it is detected that the documents submitted by the candidates are false or the candidate has suppressed relevant information, then his/her services shall be terminated without prejudice to any other action initiated by the college.
17. The college reserves the right to withdraw any advertised post(s) at any time without giving any reason. Any consequential vacancies arising at the time of Interview may also be filled up from the available candidates.
18. In case of any inadvertent mistake in the process of selection, which may be detected at any stage even after the issue of appointment letter, the college reserves right to modify/withdraw/cancel any communication made to the candidate.
19. In case of any dispute/ambiguity that may occur in the process of selection, the decsion of college shall be final. Candidates are advised to satisfy themselves before applying that they possess at lease the minimum essential qualifications laid down in the advertisement.
20. Candidates called for interview shall not be paid any TA/DA.
