Reemployment of teachers

Subject:

Regarding re-employment of teachers (Purely Temporary) upto to the end of academic session i.e. upto 31st March.

Kindly refer to the above mentioned subject.

To provide uninterrupted study to the students of Government Schools, the State Government has decided that the School Teachers of Government Schools, who superannuated during the mid session will work. up to the end of the ongoing academic session ie, up to 31 March on the same post till the time an alternate arrangement is made for rest of the academic session. The terms and condition of the re-employment are as

under:-

It will be applicable to all the Teachers including Head of the Schools working in the School Education Department. The re-employment shall be purely temporary and on optional basis. iii. It will be the prerogative of the State Government to deny any teacher

for re-employment on case to case basis.

iv. The re-employment will be from the date of retirement of teacher till the end of academic session ie. up to 31st March or till the department is able to fill the post through any mode whichever is carlier.

V. The re-employment of the teachers will be made on need basis, keeping in view the factors such as workload and student teacher ratio

etc.

The salary will be paid to the pensioner teacher as per Rule-52 (amended vide notification dated 26.02.2018) of 'Haryana Civil Services (Pay) Rules, 2016' on re-employment, if retired under Old Pension Scheme (OPS) and the salary will be paid to the teacher who

retired under New Pension Scheme (NPS) as per Rule-56 (amended vide notification dated 26.02.2018) of 'Haryana Civil Services (Pay) Rules, 2016' on re-employment. In case of Guest Teacher, the monthly honorarium will be paid only equal to the last honorarium paid to the Guest Teacher which will not be further increased in any situation.

  1. This policy constraint is null and void as per the restriction that mid session retiring teachers can only be re employed. What is the meaning, viability and practicability of such undefined policies? How will it be useful for those schools are deficient of teachers even from the previous academic session?
