MDM REVISED COOKING COST 2025

Regarding Revision of Material Cost w.e.f. 1 May, 2025 under PM Poshan.

With reference to GOI F.No. 1-3/2021-Desk (MDM)-part.2 dated 21st April, 2025 on the subject cited above.

With the approval of Govt. of India the Material Cost (earlier known Cooking cost) has been increased w.e.f. 1 May, 2025. Now the Material Cost for BalVatika & Primary class student is Rs. 6.78 per day per child and for Upper Primary class Student is Rs. 10.17 per day per child. Detail of Share as under:-

उपरोक्त विषय के संदर्भ में। विषयः इस सम्बना मे ं आपको सूचित किया जाता है कि अतिथि अध्यापकों के विदेश जान े हेतु कोई भी हिदायते नही ं ह ै तथा अतिथि अध्यापकों पर HCS Service Rules लागू नही ं होते है । यदि कोई अतिथि अध्यापक विदेश जाना चाहता है तो यह अपना अवकाश अवैतनिक अवकाश सक्षम अधिकारी (जिला मौलिक शिक्षा अधिकारी / जिला शिक्षा अधिकारी) से स्वीकृत करवाकर विदेश यात्रा कर सकता है।

मुझे यह सूचित करने का निदेश हुआ है कि सक्षम प्राधिकारी के अनुमोदन से 01 दिसंबर, 2024 से पीएम पोषण योजना के तहत बाल वाटिका और प्राथमिक कक्षाओं के लिए सामग्री लागत को 6.19 रुपये और उच्च प्राथमिक कक्षाओं के लिए 9.29 रुपये बढ़ाने का निर्णय लिया गया है। सामग्री लागत को केंद्र और राज्यों के बीच मौजूदा वित्त पोषण पैटर्न के अनुसार साझा किया जाएगा, पूर्वोत्तर क्षेत्र (एनईआर) के राज्यों और 2 हिमालयी राज्यों और जम्मू-कश्मीर के केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों के लिए 90:10, विधानमंडल के बिना केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों के लिए 100% और अन्य राज्यों के साथ-साथ विधानमंडल वाले 2 केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों के लिए 60:40।

(i) Where study leave is not required: a) For cases for pursuing higher studies/course/training including technical or scientific studies in public interest through online/private/ correspondence/ distance mode/evening classes, where there is no need to attend class physically during office hours, he/she may be granted permission to pursue higher studies by the Head of Department (in case of Group-C and Group-D employees) and by Administrative Department (in case of Group-B officers) subject to the condition that official work does not suffer under any circumstances. The official/officer shall be expected to attend to his/her duties and work assigned. After granting such permission, applied leave including casual leave (other than study leave) may be granted for preparation or appearing for examination by the competent authority as specified in HCS (Leave) Rules, 2016. 3 With reference to query received in the Finance Department, it is hereby clarified that in those cases which are covered under aforesaid guidelines, such permission shall be granted by the competent authority supject to fulfilment of condition of three years' service on regular basis. 4.
